Pure Patch Sleep Patch Ingredients: Inside Our Melatonin-Free Formula
Explore Pure Patch Sleep Patch ingredients: magnesium glycinate, L-theanine, apigenin, GABA, CoQ10, and black pepper extract, with listed amounts.
Pure Patch Sleep Patch is melatonin-free. Each patch lists magnesium glycinate 15 mg, L-theanine 3 mg, apigenin 2 mg, GABA 2 mg, CoQ10 1 mg, and Cosmoperine® black pepper extract 0.5 mg. These are the package-listed ingredient amounts, not a measurement of how much a person absorbs.
We developed Pure Patch Sleep Patch with doctors and pharmacists as a melatonin-free option for your bedtime routine. The six-ingredient formula comes in one patch, with no capsule to swallow or drink to prepare.
The complete Sleep Patch ingredient list

| Magnesium glycinate | 15 mg | Magnesium combined with glycine. Magnesium supports normal nerve and muscle function. Explore magnesium glycinate and sleep. |
| L-theanine | 3 mg | An amino acid naturally found in tea, studied in oral research on stress and sleep. Explore the L-theanine research. |
| Apigenin | 2 mg | A plant flavonoid found in chamomile and other plants. Explore apigenin and its connection with chamomile. |
| GABA | 2 mg | A chemical messenger that helps regulate nerve signaling in the body. Explore GABA and sleep research. |
| CoQ10 | 1 mg | A compound involved in cellular energy production, included as a complementary ingredient. Read about CoQ10 in the formula. |

The package also lists adhesive without an amount. Magnesium glycinate, L-theanine, apigenin, and GABA are the four ingredients highlighted on the front of the pouch. The table gives the fuller list from the back.
Magnesium glycinate: the magnesium form matters
Magnesium glycinate combines magnesium with glycine. We use this named form in the nighttime formula, rather than describing it only as “magnesium.” Magnesium has established roles in normal nerve and muscle function. The NIH magnesium reference explains those roles and the different ways magnesium appears on labels.
For Sleep Patch, the package says 15 mg magnesium glycinate. It does not separately declare elemental magnesium. That distinction matters when comparing the number with an oral supplement's Supplement Facts panel.
L-theanine: an ingredient studied for calm and sleep
L-theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea. It is a specific compound, not another name for tea or caffeine. Our Sleep Patch formula lists 3 mg per patch.
Human research on oral L-theanine has examined stress-related symptoms and sleep. Our L-theanine guide explains the findings, including the difference between a subjective sleep score and a guaranteed change in how long someone sleeps.
Apigenin: the plant compound associated with chamomile
Apigenin is a flavonoid found in plants, including chamomile. Sleep Patch lists the ingredient apigenin, at 2 mg per patch; it does not list a chamomile tea or a whole-chamomile blend.
That is a useful distinction when reading research. A trial of chamomile extract tests a mixture of compounds. It cannot tell us that isolated apigenin alone produced every observed effect. Our apigenin guide looks at that evidence directly.
GABA: an ingredient with a role in the nervous system
GABA stands for gamma-aminobutyric acid. In the body, it acts as an inhibitory chemical messenger, helping regulate nerve signaling. The National Library of Medicine's GABA definition describes this biological role.
Sleep Patch lists 2 mg of GABA per patch. GABA's role inside the body and the effects of adding GABA through a product are different questions. Our dedicated GABA and sleep guide explains both.
What are CoQ10 and black pepper extract?
CoQ10 is short for coenzyme Q10, a compound involved in cellular energy production. Sleep Patch lists 1 mg as a complementary ingredient. Its presence does not turn this into an Energy Patch or establish a separate sleep benefit. NIH's CoQ10 overview explains the compound.
Cosmoperine® and “Black Pepper Extract” identify the same 0.5 mg ingredient on this package. They are not two separate additions. The ingredient list alone does not quantify any effect on absorption.
What does the research tell us about this formula?
The linked studies explain the ingredients and include oral supplements and plant extracts. They are not clinical trials of the finished Pure Patch Sleep Patch. Testing the exact patch with its formula and directions would answer questions about its delivered dose and sleep outcomes; quality reports and customer experiences provide different information.
